| It nidifies at low altitudes in the cultivated countryside and in southern Europe in the mountains in clearings often over the 1500 m. Summer visitor winters in tropical Africa. In Italy it nidifies in the centre and north with irregular distribution. Shy. Dimensions: 15 - 16,5 cm. Wingspan: 24 - 27 cm. | |||||
